TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not download or use our software.

2. Desktop Software & Installation (EULA)

By running the Mint POS desktop installer, you acknowledge and consent to the following necessary technical operations required for the software to function:

• Third-Party Components: The installer may automatically download and configure authorized local database dependencies (e.g., PostgreSQL).
• Network Configuration: The software will modify local firewall rules and open specific local network ports required for POS terminals to communicate with the local server.
• Automated Updates: The software may periodically communicate with our secure servers (mintpos.pk) to download and install application updates automatically.

3. Account Registration & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

4. Pricing and Payments

Software subscriptions and hardware prices are determined by Mint POS and are subject to change. We may charge standard service or delivery fees for hardware installations. Payments must be fulfilled through our authorized channels.

5. User Responsibilities & Prohibited Conduct

You agree to use the software solely for legitimate business operations. You must not reverse-engineer the terminal software, attempt to bypass security measures, misuse our APIs, or engage in fraudulent activities on the platform.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All software code, UI designs, logos, and graphics remain the exclusive intellectual property of Mint POS. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software for your business operations.

7. Limitation of Liability

Mint POS acts as a software facilitator. We are not liable for direct, indirect, financial, or consequential damages resulting from hardware failures, internet outages, data entry errors by your staff, or the inability to use our systems.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice, if we detect any violations of these Terms or malicious activity originating from your account.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after updates have been published implies your formal acceptance of the revised Terms.
